Information systems and technologies (by fields and sectors)

The Bachelor's Programme in Information Systems and Technologies (by sectors and fields) — 60610100 — trains highly qualified specialists in the design, development, deployment, and management of information systems and digital technologies, with a particular focus on their application in agriculture and the agro-industrial sector.

Students develop competencies in administering information systems, managing databases, developing and implementing software, digitally managing land, water, and agro-service resources, and coordinating digital-transformation projects. The curriculum also covers digital agriculture technologies, Smart Farming systems, information security and data protection, and the management of IT infrastructure in agricultural enterprises.

Throughout the programme, students gain practical, applied experience alongside their theoretical training. Graduates are prepared to work as information-systems specialists, database administrators, digital agriculture (Smart Farming) systems operators, IT-infrastructure managers in agricultural enterprises, software- and information-systems implementation specialists, digital-transformation project coordinators, and information-security and data-protection specialists.
