About the programme
Graduates of the Geology program at KFU earn the qualification of a Geologist and acquire modern theoretical knowledge and practical skills in studying the Earth's structure, exploring mineral resources, geological mapping, natural resource assessment, and the analysis of geological processes.
After graduation, they can work in geological exploration and mining companies, oil and gas enterprises, research institutes, environmental organizations, engineering geology and consulting firms, as well as government agencies responsible for natural resource management.
Graduates may also continue their education through master's programs and pursue careers in geological exploration, hydrogeology, engineering geology, geophysics, geochemistry, and other Earth science disciplines.
The profession of a geologist is highly valued, offers excellent career opportunities, and provides employment prospects with leading companies in Uzbekistan and abroad.
