General Information about the Programme

The Bachelor’s degree programme in General Medicine is designed to train general practitioners and provides students with the knowledge and practical skills required for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. During the programme, students develop knowledge and skills in the following key areas:

Anatomy and Physiology: studying the structure of the human body and the functions of its organs, which is essential for understanding diseases and determining appropriate treatment methods.

Diagnosis and Disease Identification: developing skills in assessing patients’ general condition, conducting and interpreting laboratory and instrumental examinations, and making accurate diagnoses.

Therapy and Treatment of Internal Diseases: learning methods for treating diseases of the heart, lungs, liver, stomach, and other internal organs, as well as the principles of medication use and treatment planning.

Fundamentals of Surgery: learning how to provide first aid in emergency situations, participate in surgical procedures, and apply basic surgical treatment methods.

Emergency Medical Care: developing skills to provide prompt medical assistance in emergencies, including trauma, heart attacks, and other critical conditions.

Where can I work?

Graduates of the Bachelor’s programme in General Medicine can work as general practitioners in hospitals, clinics, and outpatient medical facilities. In addition, graduates can continue their education at the master’s and doctoral levels in specialized medical fields, allowing them to deepen their professional expertise and qualifications.
