About the programme
The Master's Programme in Economics (70410102) trains highly qualified specialists in economics, finance, and management. Belonging to the field of Business, Management and Law, the programme combines a strong theoretical foundation with applied, practice-oriented training, preparing graduates to address the complex economic tasks of developing sectors and enterprises and defining their strategic outlook.
Students develop advanced competencies in the economic, financial, marketing, production, and analytical activities of business entities across sectors and forms of ownership — including financial, credit, and insurance institutions, state and local government bodies, academic and sectoral research organizations, and educational institutions at all levels. The curriculum covers economic analysis and forecasting, financial and investment management, the planning and development of sectors and enterprises, and the application of modern tools, methods, and techniques of economic management and decision-making.
Throughout the programme, students strengthen their analytical, research, and managerial skills. Graduates are prepared to work as economists, analysts, and managers in enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership, financial, credit, and insurance institutions, state and local government bodies, scientific-research organizations, and educational institutions.
