This master's programme covers the set of professional fields related to advanced micro- and macroeconomic theory, econometric modelling and economic forecasting, the in-depth analysis of industry and regional economies, investment project appraisal, financial and statistical analysis, the digital economy, and the conduct of independent research providing the scholarly justification of economic policy and management decisions. Graduates may work as lecturers and senior lecturers in higher and specialised secondary education institutions, as researchers at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sectoral research institutes, as chief economists and financial analysts at state and non-state enterprises, as leading specialists in banking, insurance and investment institutions, as experts in public administration bodies, statistical agencies and consulting companies, as well as continue their academic career in doctoral studies (PhD).
