Dentistry

The Dentistry program was established in 2019 on the basis of the Faculty of Pediatrics at the Urgench Branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy. Due to the increasing number of students enrolled in the Dentistry program, the Faculty of Dentistry was established in accordance with Resolution No. 1 of the Branch Council dated August 27, 2021.

The Pharmacy program was established in 2021. Currently, the faculty includes 8 departments located in the main academic building of the branch and in clinics throughout the city of Urgench. The departments are staffed by professors, lecturers, PhDs in Medical Sciences, and Candidates of Medical Sciences.

The first dean of the faculty was Associate Professor Aziza Gaibnazarovna Madrimova, PhD in Medical Sciences, who served in this position until February 2025.

At present, the faculty is headed by Associate Professor Dilshodbek Farhod ugli Kurbanov, PhD in Medical Sciences. Currently, 1,190 students are studying at the faculty in two educational programs.
