General description
Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Management focuses on the study of principles, practices and mechanisms related to effective management of tourism companies, hotel business, restaurant operations. The program can provide students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in the legal, financial and strategic aspects of tourism business management.
Content and curriculum
The program covers a number of subjects related to tourism business management, including tourism economics, tourism resources, quality management in tourism, tourism marketing, innovation in tourism, gastronomy, tourism geography. Students will gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of investors, managers and other stakeholders in the tourism business environment.

• to acquire communication and cooperation skills necessary for effective cooperation with tourism business organizations, including tourism companies, restaurants, transport and logistics organizations.
Career opportunities
Undergraduate students can have opportunities to work in various fields and positions related to tourism activities, including tourism business management specialist, tour operator, travel agent, hotel manager. Undergraduates have the opportunities to get hired in the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, international and local tourism companies, hotel chains, and restaurants. In addition, this bachelor's program can serve as a basis for students who wish to study the Master's degree in Tourism (by type of activity) and Master's degree in Pilgrimage Tourism in order to gain in-depth knowledge in this field.
