Computer Engineering (Design of Computer Systems, Design of Practical Software, Information and Multimedia Technologies)

General Description

Training of master’s students in the field 70610301 – Computer Engineering is carried out in full-time mode of study. Education in all forms is organized on the basis of the credit-module system.

The standard duration of full-time study in the master’s program is 2 years.

The development and updating of qualification requirements, curricula and academic programs, as well as the effective organization of the educational process in this field, are the responsibility of the management staff of the higher education institution — the rector, vice-rectors, head of the academic department, deans and heads of departments — as well as the teaching staff responsible for training graduates who meet the qualification requirements.

General Requirements

Admission to the master’s program is carried out on a competitive basis among applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree or the qualification of a certified specialist in the relevant field of study, as well as in related fields of higher education determined by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

English Language Requirements

Applicants are required to provide an internationally recognized certificate confirming foreign language proficiency: at least 72 points in TOEFL, 5.5 in IELTS, TestDaF — TDN3, or CEFR level B2. A B2 or C1 level certificate issued by the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation is also accepted.

Applicants who do not provide a foreign language proficiency certificate must take a foreign language examination. The minimum passing score is from 60 to 100 points. In this case, the admitted student is required to submit the relevant foreign language proficiency certificate before the end of the first year of the master’s program.
