Students in this area will perfectly master artificial intelligence and programming technologies, programming languages and computer programming. In the first year, the following subjects such as Foreign Language, Recent History of Uzbekistan, History of Samarkand Civilization, Calculus, Physics, Programming, Academic Notation, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Differential Equations, Discrete Systems are taught in the Uzbek language.
From the 2nd year, practical classes and laboratory work in subjects related to the specialization included in the curriculum are conducted in the IT center of the faculty and are carried out in basic organizations and enterprises. In addition, in the IT center, gifted students of the faculty work on their own StartUps. They participate in various competitions with their works in relevant IT fields. Coursework is completed at the rate of 1 credit from the hours of independent study allocated for the subject.
In the 2nd, 3rd, 4th courses the main subjects are “Database”, “Fundamentals of Cybersecurity”, “Data Structures and Algorithms”, “Programming Artificial Intelligence in addition to Electronics and Circuits”, elective disciplines such as “Computer Graphics and geometry", "Theory of fractals" and "Fractal graphics". In groups of gifted students of the faculty, special subjects are taught entirely in English.
After successful completion of 4 years of study, students are assigned the specialties “Specialist in Artificial Intelligence Technologies”, “Programmer”, “Teacher of Computer Science and Mathematics”.
1 credit is equal to 30 academic hours.
The average score is determined annually in the third week of August.
Military training classes are held at the expense of the hours of the block of elective subjects (subject to the mastery of elective subjects), and military training - at the expense of vacation time. The block of elective subjects is determined by the decision of the Academic Council of SamSU from a set of subjects that ensure the requirements, adaptability and mobility of the labor market and customer personnel.
When drawing up a working curriculum based on the curriculum, the weekly volume of the student load is maintained and the size of the block of academic subjects changes to 5%, the volume of subjects in blocks to 10%, also, classroom loads can be determined according to circumstances, maintaining the total volume of weekly loads in individual semesters .
The deadline for the final state certification also includes the defense of the thesis.
Workshops and laboratory work in subjects related to the specialization included in the curriculum are conducted at the university and basic organizations and enterprises.
In order to ensure the integrity of theory and practice, students' qualifying practice is carried out in basic organizations and enterprises.
Physical education and sports disciplines are organized as an optional course in sports sections of the voluntary choice of the student.
Coursework is completed on a 1st credit basis through independent study hours allocated to the subject.
