The Department of Architecture offers a comprehensive and design-focused curriculum that equips students with creative, technical, and practical skills necessary for careers in architecture and urban design. Over the course of four academic years, students engage in a variety of core and elective subjects that foster innovative thinking and problem-solving in the built environment.

Curriculum Highlights:

• Major Required Courses include foundational and studio-based subjects such as Architectural Design Studios A–D, History of Western Architecture, Structural Theory, Urban Regeneration, Building Construction, and Building Codes.

• Major Elective Courses allow students to explore areas such as Reinforced Concrete and Steel Structures, Building Materials, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Systems, and Architectural Internship.

• Liberal Arts Required Courses enhance communication, scientific, and mathematical literacy through subjects like Physics, Calculus, Computer Programming, Economics, Korean and English languages, and Philosophy.

• Liberal Arts Electives include specialized writing, Korean language, and history subjects that support cultural and professional development.

The program ensures students graduate with a balanced combination of creativity, technical know-how, and understanding of architectural history and modern practices, preparing them for global practice or graduate study.
