About the faculty

In order to develop the industry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and expand the training of high-level personnel in the basic sectors of its economy, by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 925 of November 13, 2018, the branch of Navoi State Mining Institute Nukus (currently Nukus Mining Institute) was established. z started its activity.

"Faculty of General Engineering" was established on the basis of the order of Navoi State Mining Institute No. 1/273 dated September 15, 2021 "On the establishment of a faculty and a department in the Nukus branch" and started its operation this year.

Departments within the faculty:

Department of Mining and Metallurgy.
Department of Power Mechanics and Automation.
Department of Business, Humanities and Exact Sciences.
Department of Chemical Technology, Labor and Environmental Protection.

At present, the faculty offers full-time education:

Relations of the faculty in the direction of working together with higher education and production enterprises:

In order to work together in the field of education and integrate education with production, the faculty has established relations with a number of family educational institutions and production enterprises within the framework of innovative cooperation. Among them, Navoi State University of Mining and Technology, Tashkent State Technical University, Tajikistan Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Volgograd State Technical University, Sh. Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Esenov, Central Asian University of Innovations, Peoples' Friendship University named after Academician A. Kuatbekov, North Caucasus Mining and Metallurgical Institutes and JSC "Navoiyazot", JSC "Uzbekgeofizika", "Ustyurt Geophysical Expedition", Cooperation relations have been established with "Kungirot Soda Plant" LLC, "Tachiatosh IES" JSC, "Nukus Polymer" LLC, "Korakalpoq Cement" LLC, and "Enter Engineering PTE.LTD" production enterprises.
