Bachelor’s Program in Psychology

The Psychology program belongs to the field of social and behavioral sciences and encompasses activities related to psychological practice across all levels of the education system — from preschool institutions and general secondary schools to vocational education centers, public safety organizations, and government and local administrative bodies, as well as enterprises and business organizations of various ownership forms.

Psychology is among the most popular disciplines in the social sphere, and specialists in this field have been trained in our country for more than fifty years.

Program Objective
To provide students with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge and skills across the fundamental, social, exact, and natural sciences, preparing them for professional practice as psychologists and applied psychologists.

Expected Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the four-year program, graduates are awarded a diploma in Psychology or Applied Psychology. They are also eligible to pursue graduate studies (Master’s level) in more than three specialized fields.

Curriculum Structure (Undergraduate Level)
During the 1st and 2nd years, students study general professional disciplines, including Higher Mathematics, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Modern History of Uzbekistan, Foreign Language, Digital Information Technologies, General Psychology, Physical Education and Sport, and Developmental Psychology.
In the 3rd and 4th years, students focus on specialized and elective courses such as Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Fundamentals of Psychological Training, Legal Psychology, Personal Development Training, Stress Psychology, and Medical Psychology.

• Graduate studies (Master’s degree) in Psychology may be pursued for a period of not less than two years.
Additionally, graduates may conduct independent scientific research in accordance with established procedures.
