Our goal

It is the leadership in the Republic in these areas of specialists who have knowledge and skills in the prevention of labor protection, technical safety, emergency situations and various production accidents in the production of personnel corresponding to the era of modern production and technologies.

To contribute to the provision of personnel to society through the creation and application of innovative technologies for the sustainable development of the state based on scientific research at the national and international level, and the development of innovative education.

History of the department

On February 12, 1962, the department of "Safety and fire-fighting equipment" was established based on order No. 18 of the Rector of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute. According to the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic No. 238 dated September 20, 1965, the department was named "Labor Protection" department from 1966. In addition to educational work, methodological and scientific researches are also conducted in the department, 6 people defended their candidate's theses.

Since 1999, the department has established a special graduate department 5860100 training in the field of education, and in 2003, for the first time, bachelors were sent to work in various sectors of the economy after completing their graduation work.

Currently, bachelors are being prepared in the areas of 61020100-Life safety and 61020200-Labor safety, production and technological process safety.

The department has experimental rooms for all taught subjects, which are equipped with working devices and measuring instruments, which allows students to improve their theoretical knowledge as well as their practical skills. This provides opportunities for training specialists who meet the requirements of industrial enterprises.
