State scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for undergraduates

ON STATE SCHOLARSHIPS OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN FOR MASTER'S STUDENTS AND THE PROCEDURE FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT

State scholarships of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for master's degree students are awarded to students of public higher education institutions who are citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan based on the results of the competition held by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The quota of state scholarships of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (twenty-two) set for the appointment of students is the selection directions approved annually by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the classification of higher education directions and specialties. will be distributed according to (one scholarship for each field of choice).

In this case, higher education institutions can recommend one candidate for each field of competition.

In order to award state scholarships of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to students, the following criteria must be fulfilled:

harmonizing general education preparation with scientific research (creative works);

participation in conferences (competitions) according to directions;

existence of at least two published works (works).

knowledge of languages - the state language and one foreign language (except for the state languages of the Commonwealth of Independent States), and in the case of a master's degree specialization in a foreign language, knowledge of one more foreign language is required;

Know the history of Uzbekistan.

Nomination of candidates for the state scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out by the academic councils of state higher educational institutions after a public discussion of the candidates’ successes in studies and scientific (creative) activities.

Candidates submit the following documents to the Academic Council for initial consideration:

extract from the grade book;

letter of recommendation from the dean's office or department;

abstract of scientific (creative) work;

feedback from the manager;

review of scientific (creative) works;

list of scientific works and their printed copies.

All documents are submitted in two copies. Each set of documents is placed in a folder; on the cover of each folder the name of the institution that submitted the case, the surname, first name and patronymic of the applicant, as well as the name of the case are indicated.

State scholarships of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan are awarded to students annually, for one academic year, starting from September 1, in strict compliance with the specified amounts.
