Master's students studying Linguistics (Uzbek language) graduate as linguist-research specialists based on a perfect study of practical and theoretical problems of linguistics.

During the 2-year study period, they learn the following subjects based on the established educational plan:
In the 1st year – Scientific research methodology, Theoretical linguistics, Psycholinguistics, Areal linguistics, Text linguistics, Pragmalinguistics, Cognitive linguistics, Teaching methodology of special subjects; Optional subjects: Sociolinguistics / Linguistics;
In the 2nd year –Semantics, Foreign sociolinguistics, Elective subjects: Uzbek language onomastics / Corpus linguistics, Scientific and technical analysis of the text / Ethnolinguistics will be taught.
Scientific practice is carried out from the 2nd year in higher educational institutions and professional development institutes.
After successful completion of the 2nd year of study, 70230101 - Linguistics (Uzbek language) specialty, linguist-research master's academic degree is awarded.
Education is conducted in the credit-module system. 1 credit consists of 30 academic hours.
Transfer from course to course is determined by the GPA index at the end of each academic year.
At the end of the educational program, Final State Certification tests will be held.
Practical and seminar classes of subjects related to the specialization included in the curriculum can be held in higher education institutions and basic organizations and enterprises.
