Ambassador of France to Uzbekistan Visited Urgench State University
The French Ambassador Ualid Fuk visited UrSU to discuss academic cooperation, the implementation of dual education, and partnerships with French enterprises operating in Uzbekistan.
Today, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Uzbekistan, Ualid Fuk, visited Urgench State University as part of his official visit to the Khorezm region. The Ambassador was accompanied by French Embassy representatives Tifeyn Magne, Serj Bellini, and Kerol Ponte. The distinguished guest was welcomed by the Vice-Governor of Khorezm region, San’at Salayev, and the Rector of UrSU, Feruza Madrahimova.
During the official meeting, the parties discussed expanding academic exchange programs, launching joint scientific projects, and increasing student and faculty mobility with French higher education institutions. Furthermore, the negotiations focused on fostering cooperation with French companies operating in Uzbekistan. Key topics included the implementation of a dual education system and prospective initiatives aimed at harmonizing the educational process with practical industrial experience.
