“Withered Lives”: A Lesson of Peace and Enlightenment

At the Faculty of Arts and Sports of Kokand State University, students presented a stage performance entitled “Withered Lives.” The play was aimed at protecting the minds of young people from social threats and inspiring them toward peace, vigilance, and spiritual maturity.

In today’s era of globalization, young people are confronted with various harmful ideas and false propaganda. There are also criminal groups that attempt to achieve their goals through terrorism, violence, and intimidation. This stage performance was aimed at raising awareness among youth about such threats and educating them to become socially sensitive and responsible individuals.

The main themes addressed in the play were the value of peace, the necessity of serving for the prosperity of the homeland, and the responsibility of youth before society. Through the events portrayed on stage, participating students had the opportunity to reflect deeply on vigilance, spiritual resilience, and social engagement.

During the event, not only the audience but also the university’s professors emphasized the importance of social responsibility, peace, and making fair decisions. In their view, such stage performances play an important role in developing critical thinking and moral decision-making skills among young people.

The play “Withered Lives” demonstrated that threats can be overcome only through knowledge and enlightenment. Therefore, such cultural and spiritual events serve as an important tool in enriching students’ spiritual outlook and inspiring them toward high aspirations.
