Winners of the Essay Contest “My Mother Tongue — My Identity” Announced
At the Faculty of Humanities and Languages of Kokand State University, an essay contest titled “My Mother Tongue — My Identity” was held in honor of the day when the Uzbek language was granted the status of a state language.
Students participated in the contest with their essays highlighting the unique beauty of the mother tongue and its role in national values. According to the results:
1st place — Munira Hakimova, 2nd-year student, Uzbek Language and Literature program
2nd place — Sug’diyona Ibrohimova, 1st-year student, Uzbek Language and Literature program
3rd place — Matluba Muýdinova, 2nd-year student, Russian Language and Literature program
