TSUOS Professors Held an International Scientific-Practical Seminar Inherited under the Theme "Common Language — Common Memory" in Turkey

On June 17, 2026, the professors and teachers of the Institute of Languages and Literature of Eastern Peoples at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies organized an international scientific-practical seminar titled "Common Language — Common Memory" at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University in Turkey.

During the seminar, issues regarding the common language and cultural heritage of Turkic peoples, the preservation of historical memory, the development of scientific research in the fields of language and literature, and the expansion of academic cooperation between higher education institutions were discussed.

Scholars from both universities participated in the event with their scientific presentations, exchanging views on contemporary research being conducted in the fields of Turkic languages, literature, translation studies, and culture.

This seminar marked a significant step forward in further strengthening the scientific and educational ties between Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University, as well as in developing joint scientific projects and academic exchange programs.
