Tolerance is a solid foundation for peace and progress
At the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Qo‘qon State University, a spiritual and educational event dedicated to interethnic harmony and religious tolerance was held. In today’s era of globalization, when various conflicts are intensifying in different parts of the world, maintaining peace and stability in society is more important than ever. Uzbekistan has long been known as a land of tolerance, where diverse nations and ethnic groups have lived together in harmony. With the aim of instilling these noble values in the hearts of youth, a spiritual and educational event was organized at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Qo‘qon State University under the slogan “Interethnic Harmony, Religious Tolerance — the Foundation of Peace and Progress.”
Industry specialists and professors, who opened the event with an introductory speech, highlighted the reforms carried out during the years of independence in our country to strengthen religious freedom and interethnic friendship. It was emphasized that tolerance is not merely enduring people of another religion or nation, but respecting their culture and beliefs and uniting around universal values.
“Where there is peace, there is progress, and where there is progress, the future is bright. Our greatest wealth is the unity of our multinational people,” the speakers noted.
The most interesting part of the event was the artistic performances prepared by the talented students of the faculty. Young people, who have mastered foreign languages perfectly, demonstrated not only their knowledge but also deep respect for the cultures of the world’s peoples.
On stage, the customs of various nations were skillfully presented. Musical performances were performed in different languages, creating a unique atmosphere of unity.
