The First International Conference on Strengthening the Family Held in Istanbul

From February 14 to 18 of this year, the First International Conference on Strengthening the Family is being held at Istanbul Commerce University in Istanbul, Türkiye. The conference is organized at the initiative of the Society for the Protection of the Rights of Uzbek Women in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Committee on Family and Women. Nilufar Atajanova, Chairperson of the Women’s Advisory Council of Urgench State University, is actively participating in this prestigious international conference. She delivered a presentation titled “Values in Family Education and Spiritual Development of the Individual,” highlighting the role of the family in society and the importance of national and universal values in educating the younger generation. Notably, Sümeyye Erdoğan Bayraktar, Head of the KADEM organization of Türkiye, also took part in the conference and delivered a speech on the rights, responsibilities, and freedoms of women in the families of Türkiye and Uzbekistan. Her speech focused on strengthening the position of women in the family, promoting gender equality, and enhancing social responsibility. This international forum serves to further strengthen friendly relations between Türkiye and Uzbekistan.
