The Faculty of Foreign Philology celebrated the Language Day on a large scale
At the Faculty of Foreign Philology, a literary and artistic evening of spiritual and educational significance was held in honor of October 21 — the day when the Uzbek language was granted the status of the state language. The main purpose of the event was to further strengthen the feelings of love and respect for the mother tongue among young people and to widely promote the priceless treasures of the Uzbek language and literature.
During the evening, students took part with poems, stage performances, and musical numbers glorifying the beauty of our language, the power of words, and the expression of our national identity. In addition, information was presented about the lives and works of famous writers, as well as the historical stages in the development of the Uzbek language.
Faculty professors and teachers also delivered speeches, emphasizing the importance of the native language in the development of society and its role in nurturing the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and national pride.
The festive evening became one of the unforgettable cultural events that inspired everyone to feel the greatness of our native language, to cherish and enrich it, and that showcased the creative potential of young people.
