Students of Kokand State Pedagogical Institute became winners of the Uzbekistan Cup.
From December 16 to 18 this year, the Uzbekistan Cup in belt wrestling for boys and girls (U-18) was held in Nukus. Students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Ozodbek Salimov and Izzatulla Jumanov, won the competition and were awarded diplomas, medals, and souvenirs. Additionally, our students secured a ticket to the Belt Wrestling World Championship, scheduled for May 2025 in Karakalpakstan.
For information: This year's Uzbekistan Cup competition saw the participation of nearly 300 young athletes from various regions of the country, competing for victory in 18 weight categories. Boys competed in both classic and freestyle divisions of belt wrestling in 10 weight categories.
