Students got acquainted with the ancient art of pottery

A group of 85 students from Kokand State University visited the famous handicraft center in the Rishton district. The trip was organized in cooperation with the Department of Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment, faculty tutors, and the prevention inspector. During the visit, students became acquainted with the rich historical heritage of Rishton, its ancient pottery art, and samples of national handicrafts. Masters demonstrated the practical process of creating various ceramic items, national patterns, and ornaments.

Students engaged in open dialogue with craftsmen and gained valuable insights into the secrets of pottery, as well as its values passed down from generation to generation.

The visit not only enriched the knowledge and worldview of young people but also fostered their upbringing in the spirit of respect for our national traditions. Such events play an important role in developing creativity, as well as nurturing diligence and patriotism among students.

The goal is to continue organizing such visits regularly and to further introduce students to our national heritage, customs, and values.
