Strategic Partnership Enters a New Stage: Delegation of Bukhara State Technical University Visits the Belarusian National Technical University

A delegation of Bukhara State Technical University, led by Rector Sadoqat Siddiqova, paid an official visit to the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU). During the visit, a bilateral meeting was held with the participation of the BNTU leadership. The discussions focused on elevating cooperation in higher education to a new level, expanding joint educational programs, developing distance education, enhancing academic mobility, and strengthening collaboration in scientific research.

The parties agreed to expand cooperation in training highly qualified specialists in the fields of energy, construction, and other priority areas, organizing industrial internships for Uzbek students at Belarusian enterprises, and strengthening collaboration on international grants, joint scientific conferences, and academic publications.

In addition, an initiative was proposed to establish winter and summer schools to promote student exchange. This project will not only enhance students' professional competencies but also contribute to strengthening cultural ties between the peoples of the two countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation toured BNTU's modern research and education centers and advanced laboratories, and exchanged views on the implementation of future joint projects.

This visit marked an important step toward further strengthening the strategic partnership between Bukhara State Technical University and the Belarusian National Technical University, while elevating bilateral cooperation in education and science to a new level.

It is particularly gratifying that the Uzbekistan–Belarus National Center has been established at the Belarusian National Technical University. The Center serves as a platform for showcasing the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and customs of the two nations while fostering mutual understanding and further strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
