🇺🇿🇰🇷 Strategic cooperation with Korea at Namangan State Technical University: King Sejong Center to be established
A meeting was held at Namangan State Technical University with a delegation from Kyungpook National University, one of the prestigious higher education institutions of the Republic of Korea.
The foreign guests were welcomed by a university team led by Ilhom Abdurahmanov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.
At the beginning of the meeting, I. Abdurahmanov provided the guests with detailed information about the activities of Namangan State Technical University, its educational fields, scientific potential, modern educational and scientific laboratories, international relations, innovative developments, and opportunities created for students. Projects implemented at the university based on the integration of education, science, and production were also presented.
During the dialogue, promising areas of cooperation between the two higher education institutions were discussed. These included:
👀launching professor-teacher and student exchange programs;
👀implementing joint research and practical projects;
👀organizing international symposia, forums, and seminars;
👀establishing the King Sejong Center on the basis of NamSTU.
During the presentation, detailed information was given about the center's goals, tasks, fields of activity, educational programs, cultural projects, and academic opportunities.
The meeting was attended by Hyukjae Lee, Vice President for University Policy; Byung-Kyu Kim, Dean of Admissions and Cooperation; and Changbae Lim, Deputy Director of the Glocal Center.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed mutual proposals and opinions on expanding academic exchange programs, implementing joint research work, and developing international educational projects.
