Scientific Council in History Established at Termez University of Economics and Service

Based on Resolution No. 382/2 of 5 March 2026 issued by the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the renewed composition of the Scientific Council for Awarding Academic Degrees PhD.03/2025.27.12.Tar.13.01 at Termez University of Economics and Service has been officially approved.

The newly established Scientific Council is authorized to award the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the following specialties:

• 07.00.01 – History of Uzbekistan;
• 07.00.07 – Ethnography, Ethnology, and Anthropology.

The Council is chaired by Associate Professor Nurullo Narzullayevich Tursunov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, while Sirojiddin Bozorovich Eshkurbonov, PhD in History, serves as the Scientific Secretary. The Council consists of 11 members.

This decision further strengthens the university's academic reputation nationwide and creates new opportunities for young scholars and researchers.
