Respect for women was shown at the Faculty of Arts and Sports
At the Faculty of Arts and Sports of Kokand State University, a solemn celebration was held on March 8 — International Women’s Day. The event was conducted as a heartfelt occasion expressing respect and admiration for all female faculty members, staff, and female students.
The event was opened with heartfelt congratulatory remarks from the Faculty Dean, Professor Jamshid Todjiboyev. In his speech, he highlighted the significant role of women in society and their invaluable contributions to family and the education system. The achievements of female faculty members and students in science, art, and sports were also recognized, with wishes for great success in their future endeavors.
During the event, the Rector’s congratulatory message to the faculty, especially to female staff and students, was read aloud. The message was ceremoniously delivered by Nozima Davletova, emphasizing the high respect for women, their role in society, and their dedicated work.
The celebration continued with colorful artistic performances prepared by the students. Songs, heartfelt poems, and stage performances by talented students added a lively and festive spirit to the event. The audience especially appreciated the comedic acts, puppet theater skills, and graceful dances performed to beautiful melodies.
