Respect for Women — a Noble Value
At the Faculty of Humanities and Languages of Qo‘qon State University, a festive event dedicated to International Women’s Day — March 8 was organized in an uplifting and sincere atmosphere. Professors, teachers, students, and staff members of the faculty took part in the event, where respect and appreciation for women were once again warmly expressed.
The festive event was opened by the faculty leadership with sincere congratulatory remarks, emphasizing the high status and respect of women in our society. As noted, a woman is not only the pillar of the family but also one of the key factors in the development of society. In particular, women educators working in the field of education play a significant role in raising a well-rounded younger generation and sharing knowledge and enlightenment with them.
During the event, the contributions of a group of female professors and teachers actively involved in the life of the faculty, as well as talented female students, were recognized. They were presented with bouquets of flowers and commemorative gifts, along with heartfelt wishes. This created an uplifting mood among the participants and further enhanced the festive spirit.
The celebration continued with artistic performances prepared by students. Poems, musical performances, and theatrical scenes praised respect for women, the greatness of a mother’s love, the delicacy of a woman’s heart, and the beauty of spring. Musical and artistic performances by the students left a warm impression on the audience and gave the event a special atmosphere.
In addition, opinions were shared about the role of women in society and their dedicated work in the fields of science, education, and culture. It was especially noted that today broad opportunities and favorable conditions are being created for women to demonstrate their potential.
This festive event, as an expression of deep respect and appreciation for women, remained as a bright memory for the faculty community. The meeting, held in a sincere spirit, further strengthened the feelings of kindness, unity, and mutual respect among the members of the collective.
