National Rankings and Accreditation Processes: Practical Seminar Held at TISU

A practical seminar was held at Termez University of Economics and Service on the state accreditation of higher education institutions and the management of educational institution rankings by the National Agency for Ensuring the Quality of Education under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The seminar was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs A. Esanov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation S. Eshkaraev, and Head of the Academic and Methodological Department Z. Turaev. They delivered presentations on the formation of data in accordance with the Regulation “On the Procedure for Maintaining the National Ranking of Higher Education Institutions”, with the aim of ensuring the university’s strong position in national and international rankings.

In particular, the indicators of academic and research activities within the national ranking system were analyzed. Key indicators requiring particular attention from faculty members in order to secure the university’s strong position in the national ranking were identified, and the ongoing changes being introduced in the accreditation of higher education institutions were discussed.
