Mentor–apprentice traditions in contemporary performance practice
The Department of “Folk Art” of Kokand State University organized an artistic concert program entitled “Master–Apprentice Traditions in Contemporary Performance Art.” The performances presented by master artists and their devoted apprentices left a strong impression on the audience.
The concert program featured a wide variety of samples from folk oral traditions, national melodies and songs, as well as different styles of traditional performance schools. The mastery of the mentors and the creative efforts of the students harmoniously blended, showcasing the continuity of spiritual heritage on stage.
The main purpose of the event was to bring young performers closer to national art, transmit performing traditions to the new generation, and recognize the event as one of the significant milestones in creative activity.
