Kokand State University has taken an important step towards international cooperation.
On July 12 of this year, an agreement was reached on a trilateral cooperation memorandum between Kokand State University, “Hong Gang International” LLC JV (a China–Uzbekistan joint venture), and the “Kokand” Free Economic Zone Directorate Unitary Enterprise, held in the “Kokand Technopark” special industrial zone. The cooperation includes the following area.
▪️ Training of highly demanded specialists;
▪️ Involving talented youth in practical work;
▪️ Implementation of innovative educational programs;
▪️ Implementation of a $60 million lithium battery production project.
The event was attended by the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade, Mr. J. Khodjayev, and the Governor of Fergana Region, Mr. Kh. Bozorov.
The negotiation process was carried out by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Kokand State University, Mr. Sh. Pulatov, and the Chief Specialist of the “Student Internship” Department, Mr. B. Turakhojayev.
