Five Initiatives Olympiad
Tomorrow the republican final stage of the "Five Initiatives Olympiad" will start On December 10-13 of this year, the republican final stage of the "Five Initiatives Olympiad" sports competitions among students of higher educational institutions will be held in the city of Karshi. Competitions will be held in various sports at the following locations: ✅ At Karshi State University - mini-football, streetball, table tennis; ✅ At the Karshi Engineering and Economics Institute - volleyball; ✅ At the Karshi Olympic and Paralympic Sports Training Center - volleyball and athletics; ✅ At the Karshi Specialized Art School - streetball. All necessary conditions have been created for the competitions to be held at a high level.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Sports, the national final stage of the mass sports competitions among students of higher educational institutions within the framework of the "Five Initiatives Olympiad" has started at Karshi State University. This year's competitions are hosted by Karshi State University and other higher educational institutions in the Kashkadarya region.
Leaders of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Sports, representatives of the Kashkadarya regional administration, and prominent experts in the field of sports attended the official opening ceremony of the final stage of the "Five Initiatives Olympiad" as honorary guests.
During the ceremony, officials warmly welcomed all participating student-athletes and wished them success and good luck. The speakers emphasized that this Olympiad plays an important role in revealing the talents of young people and raising a physically and spiritually mature generation.
Within the framework of the "Five Initiatives Olympiad", competitions are held in four stages among university students in five types of sports: mini-football, table tennis, volleyball, athletics, and streetball.
This year, competitions in five types of sports were held at 147 higher educational institutions. A total of 441,869 students participated, including 211,777 female students. The winning teams of the regional stages are participating in the national final stage being held in Karshi from December 9 to 13. A total of 574 participants are taking part in this year's final.
