First Uzbekistan–Malaysia Education Forum
Rector of Bukhara State University, Obidjon Khamidov, and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Abror Jo‘rayev, are participating in the First Uzbekistan–Malaysia Education Forum, held under the theme “Opportunities and Initiatives in Higher Education for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.”
At the forum, Rector of Bukhara State University Obidjon Khamidov delivered a presentation in English on the topic “Tendencies and Prospects of Green Economy Development in Uzbekistan.”
In his speech, Obidjon Khamidov spoke about the trends and future prospects of green economy development in Uzbekistan. He emphasized that the use of renewable energy sources, improving energy efficiency, and the implementation of environmentally friendly technologies are among the country’s key goals on the path to sustainable development.
He also noted that Uzbekistan is actively implementing green economy principles through policies focused on attracting international investment and environmental protection.
