First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Visits Our University
Sardor Rajabov, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, visited Termez University of Economics and Service.
During the visit, S. Rajabov familiarized himself with the university’s material and technical facilities, academic buildings, and infrastructure created for students. Particular attention was paid to the conditions in classrooms, the activities of the EDU HUB center, and the integration of digital learning technologies into the educational process.
Positive remarks were also made regarding the new system being developed based on the University of Cambridge methodology to take the quality of English-language teaching to a new level, as well as the university’s cooperation with prestigious foreign higher education institutions.
The fundamental objective of higher education reforms is to ensure the training of highly qualified professionals. During his conversation with university students, S. Rajabov emphasized the importance of making effective use of the opportunities created for young people and acquiring not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills.
The meeting also addressed the university community’s achievements in recent years and its research activities. In particular, discussions focused on further strengthening the university’s research capacity, publishing faculty members’ research in prestigious international journals, and introducing innovative developments into production.
