“Field of Enlightenment” — a field of talents
At the initiative of the Center for Enhancing the Social Activity of Students and Pupils under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, the Fergana regional stage of the Republican review-contest “Field of Enlightenment,” traditionally held to widely promote the rich creative heritage of our great writers and thinkers among student youth, strengthen a culture of reading in young hearts, and develop artistic thinking and stage skills, was organized at a high level.
This competition became not only a creative contest but also a true celebration of spirituality. Students of higher educational institutions across the region participated with their teams, presenting stage performances, literary-artistic compositions, and dramatic acts based on masterpieces of Uzbek literature. Particular attention in each performance was given to character interpretation, stage culture, fluency of speech, ideological approach, and creative ingenuity.
The competition processes were evaluated according to open and transparent criteria, and the jury carefully analyzed the participants’ artistic level, stage freedom, team harmony, and impact on the audience. Performances that deeply expressed the ideas of national values, patriotism, and enlightenment received especially high recognition.
At the regional stage, the “Kohinur” team, formed by talented students of Kokand State University, performed достойно and ultimately secured an honorable second place. Each of the team’s performances clearly demonstrated serious work on the script, stage design, and character development. The students’ creative approach, heartfelt delivery of the text, and natural presence on stage resonated with the audience.
Within the framework of the competition, the individual mastery of team members was also recognized. In particular, Feruza Abdusamatova received the nomination “Best Female Role Performer” for her deep interpretation of the character, subtle expression of emotions, and convincing stage performance. Dilhayotjon Sotiboldiyev stood out with his confidence on stage, skillful embodiment of the role, and expressive speech, winning the nomination “Best Male Role Performer.”
The “Field of Enlightenment” review-contest plays an important role in revealing the creative potential of youth, educating them in the spirit of national literature, strengthening their spiritual immunity, and shaping a refined aesthetic taste.
