Effective work on occupational safety is being carried out at Kokand State University
The Vice-Rector for Finance and Economics of Kokand State University, J. Azamov, presented information on improving working conditions, preventing industrial accidents, and the prevention of occupational diseases. It was noted that within the framework of the “Targeted Program for Further Improvement of Working Conditions, Prevention of Industrial Accidents and Occupational Disease Prevention,” developed on the basis of the instruction of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 12, 2025, No. 01-24-284, a concrete action plan has been developed at the university and is being implemented consistently.
During the implementation of this plan, over the first nine months of 2025, Kokand State University recorded no accidents, injuries, fatalities, or occupational diseases among its employees. This indicates that the university administration and the specialists of the Civil and Labor Protection Department have carried out effective preventive work in this area.
Officials emphasized that efforts to create a safe working environment, prevent occupational risks, and protect employees’ health will continue systematically in the future.
