Diplomas were ceremonially awarded to the university’s international graduates.
At Samarkand State Medical University, alongside students from our country, students from many foreign countries are currently studying, including India, Pakistan, China, Russia, Korea, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Tunisia, the Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh, Palestine, Iran, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan. In particular, around 4,000 international students are currently receiving high-quality education at the university’s International Education Faculty.
On February 10 of the current year, a ceremonial diploma awarding ceremony was held for graduating students who successfully passed their final state examinations.
The event was opened by the rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Jasur Rizayev, who wished the graduates success in their future professional careers and expressed his hope that they would become highly qualified doctors in their home countries.
The event was also attended by family members of graduates from the International Education Faculty, who expressed their gratitude to the administration of SamSMU and the teaching staff for the created conditions and high-quality education.
Today, Samarkand State Medical University is rapidly progressing in training qualified personnel not only for our country but also for the global healthcare system. This is a clear example of the great attention being paid to education and healthcare in our country.
