Cooperation prospects discussed with KOICA representatives

KOICA representatives met with UrSU Rector Feruza Madrahimova to discuss implementing AI-based Korean language instruction and dispatching a new volunteer teacher for the upcoming academic year.

A delegation led by Kim Siyeon, Deputy Director of KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency), visited Urgench State University and was received by Rector Feruza Madrahimova. The meeting highlighted the ongoing partnership in Korean language and cultural education at UrSU. Deputy Director Kim Siyeon proposed establishing an AI-powered Korean language teaching program at the university starting in the 2026/2027 academic year, alongside assigning a KOICA volunteer educator for a one-year term. Both parties agreed to further expand educational, scientific, and academic exchange initiatives.
