Cooperation Agreement Signed with the Institute of Genetics and Experimental Plant Biology

A cooperation agreement for 2026–2030 was signed between Termez University of Economics and Service and the Institute of Genetics and Experimental Plant Biology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan to strengthen collaboration in scientific research, educational and methodological activities, and the training of qualified specialists.

Preparing knowledgeable, highly qualified, and competitive professionals in the fields of biology, genetics, and agriculture—key sectors for the sustainable development of Uzbekistan's economy—while improving the quality of scientific research and strengthening the country's research capacity are among the nation's strategic priorities. In addition, the Concept for the Development of Higher Education in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030 emphasizes the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation between research institutions and higher education institutions in conducting scientific research.

In line with these priorities, Termez University of Economics and Service and the Institute of Genetics and Experimental Plant Biology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan have established close cooperation in the training of highly qualified specialists.
