A student of Kokand State University — Winner of the Uzbekistan Cup
The Uzbekistan Cup fencing competitions among youth (U-23) were held at the “Samo” Sports Complex in Fergana city. In this tournament, talented athletes from various regions of our country competed with each other in the foil category.
The competitions were held at a high level, intense and uncompromising. The individual matches among women, in particular, left a strong impression on the spectators. In these contests, Maftuna Davronova, a student of the Faculty of Arts and Sports of Kokand State University, stood out for her skill, agility, and determination. She successively defeated her opponents and took first place.
In addition, Maftuna Davronova, participating as part of the Fergana regional team, also achieved victory in the team category. Thus, she contributed not only to her personal success but also to the team’s achievement.
At the conclusion of the competition, the winners and prize-winners were ceremoniously awarded diplomas, medals, and commemorative gifts.
