A representative from Bordeaux Montaigne University (France) visited Bukhara State University
Rector of Bukhara State University O. Khamidov received a distinguished representative of Bordeaux Montaigne University. Professor Olga Gille-Belova, Head of the Department of Slavic Studies, visited our university with the aim of expanding and strengthening mutual cooperation. This visit was recognized as a significant contribution to the development of scientific and academic relations between the two universities, initiated by the Department of French Philology at Bukhara State University.
During the meeting, key issues were discussed with representatives of the Department of French Philology, including the development of student exchange programs, internship opportunities for Master’s students at BukhSU, and the launch of mobility programs for professors and lecturers.
These initiatives aim to build a solid foundation for enriched academic cooperation by drawing on the educational experiences of both universities.
At the end of the meeting, both sides reached an agreement on promoting academic mobility, providing opportunities for international reviewers to assess the research of young scholars, and implementing joint projects within summer school programs. The Department of French Philology plays an important role in initiating this collaboration, which is taking relations between Bukhara State University and Bordeaux Montaigne University to a new level.
This partnership is opening doors to new ideas and opportunities for both academic communities and will help further strengthen institutional ties in the future.
