A meeting was held regarding the professional development of university staff in Japan.
On February 16 of the current year, the Director of the Japan International Medical Education Foundation, Akira Sakai, visited Samarkand State Medical University.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the university administration, during which issues of mutual cooperation were discussed.
In particular, discussions were held regarding the participation of staff from Samarkand State Medical University in training courses and a conference in Japan, scheduled from August 21 to September 18, organized with the support of JIMEF.
This program provides an opportunity for professional training in gastrointestinal endoscopy at the University of Tsukuba Hospital.
