A meeting between the rector and students was held at the student dormitory within the framework of “Youth Day.”
On February 24 of the current year, during a meeting with youth, the President of our country, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, put forward an initiative to designate Thursdays as “Youth Day.” This initiative contributes to further strengthening dialogue between leaders and young people.
In this regard, a meeting between the rector and youth was organized at the university’s dormitories No. 1 and No. 2. Initially, pilaf was served to students for iftar in honor of the month of Ramadan.
After that, a face-to-face dialogue with students was held under the leadership of the university rector, Maksudjon Abdullayevich Yuldashev, with the participation of vice-rectors and department heads. During the meeting, students expressed their opinions and proposals, along with raising existing problems and shortcomings.
The rector emphasized that positive results would be achieved regarding all appeals and suggestions and gave relevant instructions to responsible officials. The living conditions in the student dormitories were also reviewed.
At the end of the event, students continued roundtable discussions around a bonfire and enjoyed cultural and recreational activities.
