A Guide to Careers of the Future: SIUT Faculty Members Develop a New Book on Modern IT Education

Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and computer networks have become some of the fastest-growing fields in the modern world. Tomorrow’s success will belong not only to those who can use these technologies, but also to specialists capable of creating and developing them.

Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and computer networks have become some of the fastest-growing fields in the modern world. Tomorrow’s success will belong not only to those who can use these technologies, but also to specialists capable of creating and developing them.

In response to these changes, faculty members of Samarkand International University of Technology have prepared a new academic and practical guide dedicated to modern IT education.

The guide, titled “Hands-On Computer Networks and AI-Driven Cybersecurity: A Comprehensive Student Guide”, was co-authored by Islom Mamatov, Head of the University’s Academic Affairs Department and an independent researcher; Mohammad Gouse Galety, Dean of the School of Computing; and Professor Arul Kumar Natarajan. The book explores modern areas of computer networks, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity through a practical approach.

Today, there is a wide range of literature in the field of IT. However, most publications are limited to theoretical knowledge. The main advantage of this guide is its combination of theory and practice. The book includes practical assignments, laboratory exercises, and examples based on real projects involving modern technologies such as Packet Tracer, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and DevSecOps.

The guide is expected to become a useful resource not only for university students, but also for young people interested in IT, specialists seeking to improve their qualifications, and anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of modern technologies.

According to one of the authors, Islom Mamatov, today’s young people should not remain merely users of technology.

“We should teach young people not only to use ready-made programs, but also to understand how technologies work. In the future, the greatest advantage will belong to those who can turn knowledge into practice. The main goal of creating this guide is to encourage young people to develop this way of thinking,” said Islom Mamatov.

The assignment of an ISBN to the book marks an important step toward its entry into the international academic and educational sphere. It also shows that the scholarly work being created at SIUT is significant not only for university classrooms, but also for the wider academic community.

Today, the world is talking about artificial intelligence. Tomorrow, the focus will be on those who create it. The training of such specialists begins with quality education, modern knowledge, and practical experience.

It can be said with confidence that this guide, created by SIUT faculty members, is one of the important steps in this direction.
