A Celebration of Beauty and Elegance

A festive event dedicated to 8 March — International Women's Day was held at Termez University of Economics and Service.

During the celebration, speakers highlighted the invaluable role of women in society and their achievements in science, education, culture, the economy, and many other fields. Artistic performances, musical numbers, songs, and dances prepared by students created a joyful and festive atmosphere for the audience.

As part of the event, an exhibition of national costumes was also organized to promote national values and cultural heritage. The exhibition featured traditional garments from different regions of Uzbekistan, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Uzbek people. Their intricate decorations, vibrant colors, and aesthetic appeal made a strong impression on the participants. Students also provided information about the historical significance of national clothing and its traditional and modern forms.
