Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) is the first international University located in the heart of Central Asia to offer Western-style education with British qualifications. WIUT provides a wide range of programmes in English, actively develops academic and research activities and organizes social events. The University is committed to high standards of learning, emphasizing independent learning as an essential aspect of the British education system. The University offers six undergraduate degrees and nine postgraduate programmes, allowing students to continue their education at a higher level. PhD DSc programmes are available at WIUT for those pursuing an academic career. In addition to the core educational programmes, WIUT offers additional executive courses.

Uzbekistan Visa

Westminster International University in Tashkent runs Visa Support. Assistance in terms of visa and registration is arranged due to WIUT Visa and Registration Regulation (VRR).

1. Where to apply for Uzbekistan Visa? You can apply for a visa where Uzbekistan Embassy or Consulate exist. Please note that required documents and visa fees may differ based on your citizenship and where you apply.
2. Visa at the airport. It is possible to obtain a visa at the international arrivals lounge of Tashkent International Airport if there is no Uzbekistan Embassy or Consulate in the country, where you are originating your flight to Uzbekistan.

The University is very proud to have had a long-standing partnership with the University of Westminster (UoW) since 2002. WIUT provides internationally recognised programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels which are designed and validated in partnership with the University and are subject to the same quality assurance and control regulations as those taught in the UK. Students from WIUT also have the option to transfer/ continue their studies at bachelor's or master’s level at the University of Westminster in London via various progression routes.
