University of Economics and Pedagogy

The University of Economics and Pedagogy operates on the basis of License No. 035374, issued on August 16, 2022 by the State Inspection for Education Quality Control under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and is a higher education institution officially recognized by the state. The entire educational process at the university is organized in full compliance with the requirements of the State Educational Standards, which guarantees the high quality of knowledge and qualifications received by graduates. Students who successfully complete their studies at the university are awarded a state-standard diploma — a document that, in terms of legal force, is fully equal in rights to diplomas issued by state higher education institutions and is fully recognized by the state.

🌍 Main areas of international cooperation

1. 🤝 Cooperation with foreign universities
• IPU has established joint educational programs, academic exchanges and research projects with several prestigious higher education institutions of the world. 
• The geography of partners is wide: Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Bulgaria, the Republic of Korea and other countries.

2. 📚 Joint educational programs (Double Degree / Joint Programs)
• Joint diploma (double degree) programs have been established with some partner universities. This allows students to receive diplomas from two countries.

3. 🔁 Academic exchange (mobility programs)
• Short-term internships, advanced training courses, summer schools are organized for teachers and students. 
• For example, in July 2025, 30 employees are planned to undergo advanced training at Karabuk University in Turkey.

4. 🌐 International conferences and forums
• The university regularly holds or participates in international scientific conferences, seminars, and round tables. 
• Foreign scientists are involved to integrate scientific activities.

On February 1–4, 2023, a university delegation participated in the international conference titled “1st Future Literacy and Strategic Foresight” held at Karabük University in the Republic of Turkey. As a result, agreements and memorandums were signed.

On February 5–9, 2023, a university delegation paid an official visit to the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and several higher education institutions in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Agreements and memorandums were signed following the visit.

On March 11, 2023, the Rector of the University, O.N. Bozorov, and the Head of the International Cooperation Department, Sh.O. Abdurakhimov, participated via Zoom in the conference titled “Seminar on Memorandum and International Cooperation” organized by Pancasakti Tegal University (Indonesia). Agreements were signed with foreign higher education institutions.

On March 13–15, 2023, a university delegation participated in the forum held at Tajik National University with the participation of rectors of higher education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan titled:
“Bilateral Relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan in the Field of Higher Education, Science and Innovation for the Development of the National Higher Education System.”

On April 3–7, 2023, the Head of the International Relations Department of the University of Economics – Varna (Bulgaria), Mr. Yevgeniy Raychev, visited our university. During the visit, a bilateral agreement was signed between the University of Economics and Pedagogy and the University of Economics – Varna. An agreement was also reached within the framework of the European Union’s Erasmus+ program regarding staff mobility and student exchange.

On April 6–7, 2023, Ms. Stoyana Rusinova, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the university. The main purpose of the visit was to establish international relations between the University of Economics and Pedagogy and Bulgarian higher education institutions. On April 6, Ms. Stoyana Rusinova and Mr. Yevgeniy Raychev met with the university staff and discussed international academic and scientific cooperation.

On May 15–18, 2023, an online course titled “Teacher Training and Education” was organized in cooperation with Pancasakti Tegal University (Indonesia). The online sessions covered scientific literacy in Indonesia, modern elementary physics, multicultural education, and multinational team environments.

On May 24–26, 2023, a university delegation participated in the “2nd International Conference on Problems of Logistics, Management and Operation in the East–West Transport Corridor” held in Azerbaijan. In addition, negotiations were conducted regarding the “2+2” education format.

From May 21–27, 2023, Daniyeva Maysara, Head of the Department of Philology and Pedagogical Sciences, participated in the international event titled “9th International Week 2023” organized by Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (Romania). More than 50 participants from 33 countries took part in the event.

Together with Rector O.N. Bozorov, we were on an official visit from July 1–10, 2023, to participate in the “International Week” organized by the University of Economics – Varna (Bulgaria). Meetings were held with representatives of more than 30 foreign higher education institutions, and cooperation agreements were discussed and established.

Together with Rector O.N. Bozorov, we paid an official visit to the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (Portugal) from July 10–15, 2023. Cooperation agreements were signed between the University of Economics and Pedagogy and the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar. An agreement was also reached to establish staff and student exchange within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.

On July 26, 2023, professors from the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (Portugal) visited our university under the Erasmus+ ICM KA107 project.

During the visit, issues such as strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between the institutions, participating jointly in international projects, and publishing scientific articles in prestigious journals were discussed. The partners were also taken on a tour to the city of Samarkand.
