About the university
Our History
Tashkent International University of Education (TIUE), founded in 2020, is one of the first private international universities focused on training highly qualified professionals in the field of education.
On June 23, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted the resolution 'On the establishment of the international university Tashkent International University of Education', which marked the beginning of the operations of a new higher education institution in Uzbekistan.
Our goal is to create an applied learning environment that enables all participants in the educational process to make discoveries, generate new ideas, critically investigate, preserve, and transmit knowledge, wisdom, and values that will foster innovation, creativity, research, and entrepreneurship.
Our graduates will become fearless innovators, entrepreneurs, creators, and doers. Our faculty, consisting of local and international experts, ensures quality and equitable education.
For international students
Support for International Students and Accommodation Conditions at TIUE Tashkent International University of Education (TIUE) has established a comprehensive support system for international students covering visa, registration, and domestic matters. These services are designed to ensure the legal stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Uzbekistan, provide them with comfortable living conditions, and facilitate their integration into the educational process.
Accommodation and Student Housing:
-
Student Dormitory: The university has a student dormitory equipped with all necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable and safe living environment for students.
-
Assistance in Finding Accommodation: For students who prefer to rent private apartments in the city, the university, in cooperation with landlords and district migration departments, provides administrative assistance in the legal processing of visas and temporary registration documents.
Responsible Departments and Migration Support:
-
Career Services Office: Manages initial communications with foreign applicants, prepares Conditional Admission Letters, processes visa invitations, and coordinates applications for visa support through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MFA).
-
Authorized Representative of the University: By decision of the TIUE management, an official representative is appointed to interact directly with state migration and visa issuance authorities. Based on an official power of attorney, this representative fully acts on behalf of the university at the Directorate of Migration and Citizenship Registration regarding visa issuance, extension, and temporary registration for international students.
Mechanisms for Visa Services:
-
Processing the Initial Student Visa: Upon successful completion of the entrance exams, the university sends a Conditional Admission Letter to the applicant. The International Relations Department compiles a package of documents for visa support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after which the student visa is issued at the Uzbek embassy abroad.
-
Extension of the Student Visa: 15–20 days before the expiration of the current visa, the student submits the required documents to the International Relations Department. An official petition signed by the university rector and an enrollment certificate are prepared, after which the authorized representative submits the documents to the migration authorities to extend the visa for up to one academic year
International partnerships
Why TIUE?
TIUE is not just a university; it is a strategic platform for accessing international education. Our model differs from traditional education: a student receives not just a degree, but a global academic and professional roadmap.
1. "Fast track" to global education TIUE students start their studies in Uzbekistan and have the opportunity to continue at international universities. This is a much more affordable and efficient path compared to the traditional "full enrollment abroad" model.
2. A real transfer pathway to 18+ international universities Through our partnership network, students can continue their education at leading universities in the UK, Australia, Malaysia, and South Korea, including:
-
University of Portsmouth (UK)
-
Northumbria University (UK)
-
University College Dublin (Singapore)
-
Curtin University (Australia)
-
Dublin Business School (Ireland) This is not just an "opportunity" — it is an official academic pathway.
3. International qualification system via OTHM (UK) TIUE students obtain internationally recognized certificates and diplomas through OTHM Qualifications, aligned with British standards. This significantly eases entry into the global labor market.
4. Dual degree model with INTI (2026) Through dual degree programs launched in partnership with INTI International University (QS ~407), students will receive degrees from two countries — a powerful advantage for global employers.
5. International environment and English-medium academic pathway TIUE gradually expands the share of education in English, adapting students to the international academic environment.
6. Low entry barriers, high results A development model based on academic performance rather than additional complex entrance exams. This system opens up opportunities for a wider range of students without compromising quality.
Conclusion TIUE is not the answer to the question "where to study." It is a systematic solution to the question "how to access global education and an international career."
