INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURE AND AGROTECHNOLOGIES OF KARAKALPAKSTAN
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 28, 1992, “On Organization of New Educational Places in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 11, 1992 and the Resolution of the Collegium of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan number 4 / 5 dated April 26, 1992, Nukus branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University was organized on the basis of the Faculty of Agricultural Economics of the Karakalpak State University.
Nukus branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University was reorganized into the Agrarian Faculty of the Karakalpak State University in line with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan №211 from June 3, 1995, “On the Development of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and during 1995-2003 in the structure of the agrarian faculty demand for staff, material and technical support improved.
Nukus branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University has been restored on the basis of the Agrarian Faculty of the Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh which was approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Admission to Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2003-2004 academic years” dated June 14, 2003, № 269 and it is the only place where education has been funded over the years, the academic staff was trained and completed with professors and teachers.
In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan №415 of 03.09.2004 “On the Development of the High-Performance Labor System for the Agricultural and Water Economy of the Republic”, the new structure of the branch has been approved and it has a history of development, taking into account the requirements emerging in the years.

Our institute has contracts with 13 states and 64 universities. Of these, Kazakhstan implements joint programs and projects with Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Germany, Portugal, Japan, Korea and Iran.
Language courses
At the Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies of Karakalpakstan, special attention is given to teaching foreign languages, and a number of language courses have been launched. In particular, English language courses are conducted by the institute’s professors and teachers, and Japanese language courses are regularly organized with the participation of volunteers from Japan’s JICA organization.
